Words are few. Far between. Usually 1 out of 3 is fairly good. I see a stack of old friends for sale like a stack of records outdated by radio play. I never told you, but our life is war. I’m resisting reality in the form of a .38 caliber - I have a closet full of ways to permanently forget you, and all it will cost is one bullet. |

I wish I could have seen the piece you were responding to in person, so I could begin to grasp how it inspired you to include notions of suicide in the last stanza. I'm just curious about it because that was the most powerful section for me.
